Leading Practices Defintion

A leading practice (also known as a best practice or a smart practice) is a method or technique that has consistently shown results superior to those achieved with other means, and that is used as a benchmark. Leading practices are used to maintain quality as an alternative to mandatory legislated standards and can be based on self-assessment or benchmarking. Our clients retain us because CORVUS has a unique ability to apply leading practices to organizations in a manner that balances the unique qualities of the organization with the practices that it has in common with others. Our clients usually retain us to undertake this work in conjunction with other related projects such as BPR, but we occasionally undertake this work on a stand alone basis.
